There’s a place for you here

The Root & Rise Approach

I believe therapy should feel like a conversation, not an interrogation. My approach is warm, collaborative, and strengths based, creating a space where children, teens, young adults, and parents feel safe to show up exactly as they are.

I take a neurodiversity affirming approach, recognizing that every brain works differently. Rather than focusing on "fixing" who you are, we'll work together to better understand your unique strengths, challenges, and experiences while building tools that actually fit your life.

No two people walk through my door with the same story, which is why there is no one size fits all approach here. I thoughtfully blend evidence-based practices with creativity, practical skill building, and a healthy dose of curiosity to meet you where you are.

Whether I’m helping a child navigate big emotions, supporting a teen through life's ups and downs, empowering a young adult through change, or partnering with parents to better understand and support their child, my goal is always the same: to help you leave feeling more confident, connected, and equipped for whatever comes next.

Feeling safe is where growth begins.

Adolescents and Teens

Growing up is exciting, confusing, overwhelming, and everything in between. Whether you're navigating anxiety, friendships, school stress, ADHD, self esteem, or simply trying to figure out who you are, therapy offers a space where you don't have to pretend you've got it all together. We'll work as a team to build confidence, resilience, and practical tools that actually fit your life.

Young Adults

Life doesn't magically become easier after high school. New responsibilities, changing relationships, career decisions, and big life transitions can leave you feeling stuck or unsure of yourself. Therapy provides a place to slow down, make sense of what's happening, and move forward with greater confidence and clarity.

Parents and Caregivers

Parenting doesn't come with a manual, and you were never meant to do it alone. Whether you're trying to better understand your child's behavior, strengthen communication, navigate school concerns, or simply feel more confident in your parenting, we'll work together to find practical strategies that support your family's unique strengths both at home and at school.

A space for children, teens, young adults, and parents to feel understood, supported, and accepted exactly as they are.
