Hi, I’m Megan!

Let's be honest. Starting therapy can feel intimidating. Whether you're reaching out for yourself or your child, you might be wondering, "Where do I even start?" My goal is to make that first step feel a little less overwhelming.

I believe the best therapy starts with a genuine connection. My goal is to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are, feel understood, and know you don't have to have all the answers before walking through the door. You don't need to have the "right words" or know exactly where to start. That's my job to help with.

Outside the Therapy Room

Outside of the therapy room, I'm usually embracing a slower pace of life. You'll often find me at Pilates, trying a new craft I'll inevitably convince myself I'm naturally good at, meal prepping for the week, spending time with my family, hunting down a cozy coffee shop, or happily spending an afternoon thrift shopping. I have a slight obsession with finding hidden gems and will absolutely tell you how much I saved if I scored a great deal. At home, I'm probably being supervised by my two cats, Penelope and Winston Jack, who are convinced they're the ones in charge.

Some of life's biggest moments happen in the ordinary ones. A meaningful conversation over coffee. A walk outside after a long day. Laughing until your stomach hurts. Finding comfort in the people who know you best. Those moments remind me that healing doesn't always happen through big breakthroughs. More often, it happens in small, consistent steps.

As a therapist, I bring that same perspective into every session. I value authenticity, curiosity, and connection, and I believe you don't have to be a "perfect" client to benefit from therapy. You can show up exactly as you are, messy thoughts, awkward silences, sarcasm, tears, and all. We'll figure it out together.

My Philosophy

I believe people grow best when they feel safe enough to be themselves.

Therapy isn't about fixing people. It's about creating the space to better understand yourself, recognize your strengths, and build practical tools that help you navigate life with greater confidence.

Every person who walks through my door brings a different story, which is why I don't believe in one size fits all therapy. Whether we're working with a child, a teenager, a young adult, or a parent, my role is to meet you where you are, celebrate what's already working, and help you build from there.

I want therapy to feel like one place in your week where you don't have to perform, have all the answers, or carry everything by yourself.
